For Spring/Summer 2017, designer Christina Economou pairs classic silhouettes with ethereal fabrics and vintage prints, evoking a sense of romanticism.

By utilizing intricate brocades, structured denim, and luxe crepe de chine, Christina Economou embraces sophisticated ease for the urban woman. For example, Economou pairs an embroidered, blush pink open back top with silk, printed cropped trousers, creating a look that exudes well traveled luxury.

A key print this season is the Wallpaper print, as seen on a variety of silk tops, maxi dresses, trench coats and cropped pants. Bold embroidery punctuates the collection, most notably on The Candy Embellished Jacket, a bubblegum pink, oversized denim jacket layered over the silk Prilla Skirt and Lime Tangled crop top.

Economou balances these bold accents with a soft, harmonious color palette including baby blue, blush pink and lime. Lightweight, functional outerwear and a curated assortment of signature, striped denim that can be easily worn day-to-night, round out the collection.

The Christina Economou Spring/Summer 2017 collection strikes a balance between romantic nostalgia and urban living. This season, Christina Economou further establishes herself as an international designer on the rise offering a fresh perspective on dressing the modern woman.
